CLINTON JAMES SLEEPER | ART - MUSIC - DESIGN - CONTACTDon't Talk to Strangers or Drummers (Glitch Pedal)

This pedal is a simple device for sampling portions of whatever is plugged into the audio jacks.
It was developed as a way of creating glitchy tracks that resembled drumbeats, without carrying
the drums on tour. Additionally when I was building the pedal I attempted to make the design as
flexible as possible so that the samples might be different every single night. I could borrow IPhones,
record over blank tapes, find cheap records/record players, and use pretty much anything to create
the songs for that night, then I just played guitar and sang over the top. (For example, one night in
Vancouver I looped a Mariah Carey tape that I found at the thrift store)

This video uses a thrift store record, a Japandroids tape, and a Radiohead MP3.
