Each day creates a sort of loop. Sleepless, nervous energy, then frustration, an electronic
reminder that there is work to be done. The Clock Pieces are improv performances based
on loops, nights awake, and the electronic sound of each morning. A hacked alarm clock
is used to create a loop that is sometimes troubling, occasionally obnoxious, and incredibly
persistent.

1 clock: Using a 1/4 inch guitar output, the former speaker in the alarm clock also acts as
a weak microphone for vocal loops and drum loops.

7 pedals: Line6 looper, Boss looper, 2 Danelectro light sensitive octave pedals, Boss Distortion,
Boss Acoustic Simulator, Boss Tremelo

2 amps: Acoustic head through 4x12 guitar amp, 1x15 bass amp

The clock should read 5:03 at the beginning of every clock piece. No piece should be longer than 5:03.
